The brand was established in 1924 by Agustin Quintero and his brother. He was known to be a tobacco expert and his ability to choose the best of the Vuelta Abajo harvests’ soon made his cigars very popular, especially in Spain. The blends remain unchanged today, offering a raw, robust tobacco taste. Often referred to as the ‘country side cigars’, Quintero cigars have an earthy, grassy almost bitter flavor.
